Pantone Color of the Year - ULTRAVIOLET

Pantone has officially called it! 2018 will be the year of Ultraviolet - a vibrant blue-based purple that echoes the essence of the galaxy and deep blue sea.

It is also symbolic of individuality, cultural differences and artistic brilliance! The shade of the vast and limitless sky is symbolic of what is possible and continues to inspire the desire to pursue a world beyond our own.

How to Rock Ultraviolet in 2018

1) Hair: From getting subtle Ultraviolet Balayage highlights to dyeing your hair purple - this trend is sure to fly

2) Make-up: Embrace jewel-toned purple shades for eyeshadows and liquid or eye-liners

3) Accessories: Start small with purchasing a few go-to accessories that are sure to be seen and help tie up your entire outfit - such as a new pair of glasses, a scarf, phone cover, wallet, handbag, belt, jewellery etc.

4) Clothing: Heading to a wedding? For the guys, you won't go wrong with a purple tie to spice up your outfit. For the ladies, a pair of regal heels or a dress will do the trick. For a more casual every-day look, pair the shade with a pair of washed out denims
